Why the name Sea & Sky?
“The name is inspired by an art series, ‘Sea and Sky’, created by my mom and artist Hannah Alpha, which embodies two of my passions: sailing and flying. These elements—sea and sky—represent freedom, exploration, and a sense of connection to the world around us. The name also evokes a powerful connection to nature, which is central to how Indigenous Peoples view their relationship with the earth. This natural connection aligns with one of the core services we offer: helping clients navigate Indigenous relations with respect and understanding. In addition to Indigenous relations, Sea & Sky Consulting focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), as well as Public Relations and Communications. The sea and sky, in their vastness and expansiveness, symbolize the broad, inclusive perspectives we aim to cultivate in the work we do. Just as the sea meets the sky at the horizon, we seek to create meaningful connections, bridge divides, and help organizations engage with diverse communities in thoughtful, inclusive ways.” – Pascale Alpha, President, Sea & Sky Consulting.
